How do ECREA elections work:

Elections of the ECREA Executive Board take place in two stages. During the first stage, ECREA members are invited to nominate themselves for Executive Board positions. During the General Assembly at an ECC conference, ECREA members (individual members and institutional co-ordinators) elect up to 11 members of the ECREA Executive Board.

The elected Executive Board members then organise a vote for positions of the President, the Vice-President, the Treasurer and the General Secretary.

During the ECC conference, members of Sections, Temporary Working Groups and Networks elect their management teams. In the second stage of ECREA Executive Board elections, members of management teams can run for positions of representatives of Sections, Temporary Working Groups and Networks in the Executive Board. The representatives are elected by management teams of Sections, Temporary Working Groups and Networks.
